Biography

John J. Vento, CPA, PC is the President of Comprehensive Wealth Management LTD, and a professor of Wagner College, Department of Accounting and Business Administration. Professor Vento is also a lecturer to the medical and dental profession. He has been the keynote speaker at various seminars and conferences which focused on the financial aspects of establishing a successful medical and/or dental practice. He has lectured through Lutheran Medical Center’s resident teleconferencing training program throughout the United States, as well as at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan. Mr. Vento also lectured at The Greater New York Dental Meeting 2009, on “Tax and Financial Strategies that Create Wealth “Mr. Vento holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in Public Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration in Taxation. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of New York. He is a Certified Financial Planner TM (CFP®) and a member of the Certified Financial Planning Association. He also holds a Series 7, Stock Broker license and a Series 24, Security Principal License in the State of New York and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Vento brings with him his vast experience from working with KPMG, one of the Big Four Certified Public Accounting firms where he specialized in audits of the medical and dental profession and the financial service industry. Upon establishing his firm in June of 1987, Mr. Vento has concentrated on professional practices (doctors and dentists), high net worth individuals and those committed to becoming financially independent. The firm’s Certified Public Accountants have over 60 years of combined Certified Public Accounting experience. I started photography as a hobby many years ago. I fell in love with the concept of creating images that will last forever and soon graduated to the use of state of the art equipment. After taking many classes and attending seminars, my ability as a photographer progressed to a level that others around me began to call art. At that point I began my career as a professional photographer. I am focused and thorough in everything I do. I am not a procrastinator. Unlike many other photographers, my turnaround time in getting images to you after the wedding is measured in weeks, not months. I am by nature a people person and many times have become a good friend of my clients and not just one of their vendors. I am passionate about what I do and strive to put my best into every shot I take. I am proud of the fact that never in my career has a bride been unhappy with my work.
